I am absolutely in LOVE with this rug from LadiesandGentlemen
Someday, if I ever have hardwood floors, I will seriously have to consider either trying to make one (yeah, right!) or buying one from this shop!

I know it’s Christmas, and most people are spending time with family, myself included. I just wanted to take 2 minutes and thank all of you for making this such a wonderful year for Sweet Kiwi Crochet!
I’ve been able to grow my business a lot this year, and without all of you it never would have happened!
So thank you for all for your support in 2011. Keep coming back for new stuff, I have some great plans for 2012!
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
Earlier this week I got an email from the Herald Journal (the local newspaper where I live). A reporter asked if they could interview me for the weekly features magazine.
I don’t really like being the center of attention, but I thought it would be a pretty cool opportunity. So, with a lot of prodding by my husband, I said yes.
You can check out the feature here:

According to Wikipedia:
Amigurumi (編みぐるみ?, lit. crocheted or knitted stuffed toy) is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small stuffed animals and anthropomorphic creatures. The word is derived from a combination of the Japanese words ami, meaning crocheted or knitted, and nuigurumi, meaning stuffed doll.[1] Amigurumi are typically animals, but can include artistic renderings or inanimate objects endowed with anthropomorphic features,[2] as is typical in Japanese culture.
Now, I crochet a lot, but I’ve never done any kind of amigurumi before, even though I think they’re awesome!
